June 12, 2011, Rikuzentakata, Iwate Pref., Japan - A whole forest of pine trees are snapped like toothpicks after a tsunami wiped out the coast of Rikuzentakata after the magnitude 9.0 Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami that devastated the Tohoku region of Japan on March 11, 2011...The exposed roots show the amount of erosion that has took place.
